Join me via elemental for an Earth Day meditation

If you joined my UCLA Mindful meditation earlier in the day, you’ll get a double header!

Gather with us to honor the Earth through mindful and somatic practices and heartfelt sharing. Earth Day can feel like a throw-away holiday, more of a title than a true honoring. Just think if everyone got work/school off on Earth Day? This dismissive attitude towards our planet is what our gathering, and elemental in general, seek to change.

At elemental, we believe the delusion that humans are separate from Nature brings us immeasurable suffering. The only path forward for us to heal ourselves and the planet, is by reconnecting to Nature through mindful practices. When we realize we are Earth, we can reestablish a relationship of reciprocity with the Earth.

Come together on Zoom to learn and experience practices for reconnecting with Nature in your own way. For many of us, it can be difficult to spend as much time outdoors as we would like. Although going to sit with a tree or simply on the ground outdoors is an excellent way to connect, it's not the only way to reconnect to Nature. When you start to believe you ARE Earth, connecting to your present moment experience becomes a doorway to reciprocity with Earth.
