A Deep Welcome

To the parts of you that were never quite welcome. To the parts of you that you’ve pushed aside and ignored. To the parts of you that love what you love. To the parts of you that you’re still getting to know. To the parts of you that someone else deemed unworthy. To the parts of you that feel confused.

I believe that each person has something unique and beautiful to share with the world.

Everyone, because of their race, ethnicity, heritage, interests, curiosities, experiences, dreams, goals, has something amazing within them. Through all of our conditioning, we learn to shove those parts of us away, hiding what makes us feel the most us. Here is where we unpack that.

Everyone belongs here. You belong here. You are not defective. You are not broken. You are enough. The world is beautiful because of our differences, not in spite of them.

Here is where everyone is encouraged to be unabashedly themselves.

What I believe, a manifesto, of sorts

I believe everyone has something beautiful to share with the world.

I believe we are beautiful because of our differences, not in spite of them. I believe in the beauty of nuance.

I believe in living like we're dying. I believe in the beauty of uncertainty.

I believe in treating each moment like it is a gift. I believe in the beauty of gratitude.

I believe we must honor life's ebbs and flows. I believe in the power of nature.

I believe decluttering is not just for junk drawers. I believe in the beauty of simplicity.

I believe emotional intelligence will save the world. I believe in the beauty of compassion.

I believe joy lives on the other side of scary things. I believe in the beauty of presence.

I believe anything can be unlearned. I believe in the beauty of listening.
