Graphics
So much of my design experience has been in the non-profit space. The focus is people-forward storytelling, which was a great crash-course in showing and not telling. I made all manner of social media graphics, fundraising page graphics, email graphics, all kinds of branded swag, posters, annual reports, fundraising reports, full website redesigns, office artwork, and so much more. Each nonprofit has its own brand vibe, so it was a great exercise in staying true to brand standards, which in turn helped me to more fully understand the flexibility and recognizability needed in my own branding projects. It was wonderful to be working hard, sometimes at a moment’s notice, towards something that had a positive, indelible impact on the world.
